Modal Particles

Polarity and interrogation are expressed in Arden with a set of four so-called modal particles:

Affirmative Negative
Indicative imá óc
Interrogative nún núnc, nónc

The affirmative indicative particle imá is only used to mark emphasis, and is often found in exclamations. The modal particles appear after the most salient word, or, by default, at the beginning of the clause.
